McPeak, a former police officer, left teaching to pursue her passion for baking at a time when cannabis legalization was starting to take off in Missouri. They knew the relaxation powers of Delta-8 and wanted to bring that power to people through an inexpensive, bakery treat. It was a bumpy road with daily road trips halfway across the state to formally learn culinary arts and a pandemic that stalled momentum. But McPeak built a friendly, successful bakery with devoted customers.
